I stumbled into the Seven Weird Things About Me meme while visiting Kathy Frederick's blog, The Junk Drawer. Since this epitomizes the type of revealing personal content I like to cover, I decided to go for it!
The rules: Cite and link to your source (me), enjoy writing about 7 Weird Things About Yourself, then tag others and help spread the weirdness.
Here are my own seven:
- As I child, I used to eat paper. I knew it was weird, but rationalized that at least I wasn't eating Play Doh, glue or boogers like some of the other kids. Paper seemed rather normal by comparison!
- I still like to play in the dirt, but now I call it “gardening.”
- Whenever I see similar objects that I like in different colors, I want to buy them all. I don't actually buy them anymore, but I did for a short time after I got my first real job.
- Sometimes when lost in thought, I catch myself lightly scratching my head. I don't know why.
- These days, when perspiring, I smell like my elderly grandfather did. I didn't realize this until I hit 40 ... and maybe it was better left unknown.
- The few times I've ever felt lonely, I wasn't alone. I was either with a group of people or with a significant other.
- I like to sleep on my stomach, whether it's good for me or not.
Now, consider yourself tagged!

Thanks for stopping by! I threw together the weirdness graphic together in Photoshop from some novelty fonts. It was one of those things that was just too compelling ... and perfect for my own brand of weirdness!
